10. Taken in Broad Daylight (2009)

The film portrays her struggle of staying alive by manipulating her captor, engineering her own rescue and negotiating her safe release after six days of hell. However, far from cracking under the traumatic experience she keeps her wits about her manipulating her captor and leaving clues for the police to get herself rescued. This movie is one of the best crime thrillers made in television film history.

The film was a ratings success despite the negative reception from critics. 

8. Anna Nicole (2013)

The lead character and voluptuous beauty Anna Nicole Smith marries an elderly billionaire and poses for Playboy. But after her husband's death, her excessive drinking, pill popping and weight fluctuations take their toll. 

The movie received a 5.3 rating in IMDb. 

7. Menendez: The Blood Brothers (2017)

Initially Lyle and Erik Menendez were nice educated boys from Beverly Hills which makes the murder of their parents even more inexplicable. Never seen before details emerge in this investigation into their lives.

This still got an IMDb rating of 5.5.

The movie wonderfully portrayed the dramatized account of the life of the woman who created Harry Potter from her humble beginnings as an imaginative young girl and an awkward teenager through the loss of her mother and becoming a mother herself to how Harry Potter began.

This received a 6.7 rating on IMDb.

Janice came under the spell of a likable and charismatic Cameron when just 16. But Cameron harbours a dark secret, an insatiable addiction to extreme BDSM. Unable to cope with Cameron's ever more extreme demands, Janice strikes a deal if Cameron will stop using her for his BDSM practices and let her have a child, she will allow him to keep a slave.

1. The Capture of the Green River Killer (2008)

Over nearly 20 years, detective Dave Reichert of the King County Sheriff's department investigated a series of brutal murders by a serial killer who became known as the Green River killer after the location where some of his early victims were found. All the victims were women involved in prostitution. 

The police used the tools available at time including an FBI profiler. They even interviewed serial killer Ted Bundy who was on death row at the time and offered his insight on the killer. Several men came under suspicion and were interviewed at length and at one point, Reichert was convinced he knew the identity of the killer. It was not until DNA matching came into being that they had the evidence to proceed. The killer eventually admitted to killing 71 women.

This amazing movie received a 7.3 IMDb rating.
